Pat Whittle (1942-2012), "Mom" to Steve and "Grandma" to many

About Our Vision

Safe & Independent

Heratage was established by Steve Whittle to service homes in Southern Utah. His vision is to help others care for their homes and alleviate the hassles associated with regular home maintenance.

For many years, Steve helped his mother with the home maintenance tasks that were difficult or unsafe for her to handle on her own. This not only kept her home in good condition, but also gave her the ability to remain safe and independent. The positive impact it had on her life became the inspiration behind Heratage Home Solutions and its mission.

"After my dad passed away, I helped my mom maintain her home. It was a blessing for both of us during a difficult time."

About the Founder

A Builder and a Scholar

Steve Whittle is a native of Las Vegas with over 25 years of experience working in the construction industry. His first job was with his dad's construction business, which allowed him to be involved in many creative projects. One of the more notable projects was building a replica of the Statue of Liberty for the Las Vegas Strip.

Steve graduated with honors from Western High School, the home of the Warriors. Following a two-year proselyting mission in Chile, he attended Brigham Young University. Before graduating, he accepted a job offer that took him back to Vegas. Education is important to Steve, which is the reason he continued taking classes online. He eventually graduated from BYU at the same time as his daughter.

The things that are most important to Steve include God, his family, and his relationships with others. He is often driven to fix broken things, even when it would have been simpler to replace them. In his free time, Steve enjoys learning Tai Chi, practicing Spanish, and reading a good book.

About Our Name and Logo

It's not a Typo

'Heratage' is the result of an effort to create a unique name with special meaning. It is formed by combining 'Hera' and 'Heritage'. Hera is the Greek goddess of marriage & family and heritage is defined as something that is handed down from the past. The name Heratage is a tribute to family and to those who have gone before us.

To highlight the unique spelling of our name, the first 'A' in the logo has received some design elements.  The inspiration behind the design comes from artwork of peacock feathers by Bronwyn Gilgallon. The peacock is a symbol of the goddess Hera.
